Apprentice School Athletic Facility (B601)

This facility was dedicated on May 19, 1972 and completed in August of that year. This facility, known today as the Apprentice Athletic Facility, is the focal point for all athletic programs.

Located on a six-acre site adjacent to the Company's engineering building, the 22,000 square-foot fieldhouse includes space for a regulation basketball court, wrestling room, strength training weight room area, locker rooms, equipment storage areas, athletic training clinic and administrative offices for football, baseball, golf and wrestling.

Also located here is Builder Field, which serves as the home to ASchool Football. This natural turf field is recognized as one of the best playing surfaces in the state.

Since its beginning, the center's facilities and grounds have been well-maintained and to meet the program's requirements as members of their respective national governing bodies.

 

Apprentice Athletic Center (B1919)

On January 17, 2014, The Apprentice School basketball teams played in their brand new home as they hosted the annual Martin Luther King Classic. 

This modern gymnasium is home to a 600-seat arena and includes a regulation collegiate basketball court, locker rooms, cardio/weight room, concession stand, laundry facility, athletic training clinic, and athletic offices serving men’s and women’s basketball, as well as athletic administration.

At The Apprentice School, each apprentice-athlete is provided an opportunity to develop himself or herself through the Builders outstanding physical training program and facilities.

Historic War Memorial Stadium

 The baseball team continues to play its home games at War Memorial Stadium in Hampton.
