HAMPTON, VA. - The Apprentice School baseball team took on its second nationally-ranked opponent of the season and lost 3-1 to NCAA Division III seventh-ranked Salisbury University at War Memorial Stadium.

The Builders pushed a run across in the first as Josh Tuck singled and advanced to second on a walk to Andrew Yonta.  Tuck scored on a Dory Fields single to right field for a 1-0 Apprentice School lead.

Salisbury scratched single runs across in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings while holding the Builders to four hits to take the victory.   Tim Kellinger and Bill Morton had a pair of hits each for Salisbury.

Dallas Wagner was the tough-luck loser for the Builders allowing seven hits in seven innings.  Four different Builders had a hit each in the game.

Apprentice School will next take on Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Sunday at 1 pm at War Memorial Stadium.
