Apprentice School baseball senior Dory Fields was named on Thursday to the U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the 2010 nationals in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Fields, a Virginia Beach native, was 6-for-14 in the tournament (.429 average), with a double, two home runs and nine RBIs.  His two home runs helped launch the Builders past Penn State Greater Allegheny in a 6-2 elimination game on Wednesday afternoon.

For the season he finished as the leading hitter on the team with a .409 average (67-of-140) with 13 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 61 RBIs.  His 67 hits equalled the fourth most in the last 20 years, while his .409 batting average was seventh best in the last 20 years.
