HAMPTON, VA. -- Junior Ryan Wagner's two-out double in the bottom of the tenth inning scored freshman David Sebera with the winning run as the Apprentice School defeated Rappahannock CC 6-5 on Friday at War Memorial Stadium in Hampton.

The Builders started the game with four runs in the bottom of the first inning.  Andrew Yonta doubled in a run while Josh Wilson singled in one.  Two others scored off of errors to make the score 4-0 after one.

Rappahannock scored a run in the third and took a 5-4 lead on the strength of a four-run fourth capped by a bases clearing single from Austin Erb.  The Builders scratched a run across in the bottom of the seventh as Yonta smacked his first home run of the season over the left field wall.

In the tenth, Sebera started the inning with a walk and stole second. After a fly out, Wagner smashed a pitch into the left-centerfield gap for his game-winning double.

Yonta was 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and a pair of RBIs to lead the Builders.  Josh Wilson and Wagner added three hits each for the Apprentice School (3-3).  Ethan Halberg earned his second win of the season pitching the tenth inning striking out two.

Apprentice School will now take on Thomas Nelson CC on Saturday in a noon doubleheader at War Memorial Stadium.
