HAMPTON, VA. -- The Apprentice School scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh on Sunday to defeat Johnson & Wales (RI) 4-3 at a soggy War Memorial Stadium.

After giving up a run in the top of the first, the Builders answered as Josh Tuck singled in Ryan Wagner who opened the bottom of the first with a walk.

After several scoreless innings, the Wildcats pushed two across in the seventh only to see the Builders respond with three in its half of the seventh. Wagner singled in Corey Gallaway who started with a double to bring the Builders to within a run at 3-2.  After Chris Kennedy reached on an error, Tuck scored Wagner with a groundout to tie the game.  Kennedy scored the winning run on a wild pitch to give the Builders a 4-3 lead and eventual win.

Gallaway threw the last three innings to earn the win allowing three hits and striking out four.  Six players had a hit each as Apprentice School was out-hit 7-6.
