The Apprentice School baseball team learned on Thursday they will be the third-seed in the upcoming U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association Small College World Series to be held at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach, Maine from May 14-18.
On Sunday, May 15 the Builders will take the field at The Ballpark to face sixth-seeded Selma University from Selma, Alabama at 3:30 pm. A win will put them in a 4 pm game on Monday, May 16 while a loss puts them in an 11 am game on May 16. This marks the 12th straight year the Builders have participated in the post-season event.
Apprentice School (23-14) has only faced Briarcliffe College out of the teams that will be in Maine this year and holds a 3-2 advantage over the Seahawks. The Builders close out their regular season on Monday, May 9 with a 2 pm doubleheader against Washington Adventist University.
