Baseball Stops Rappahannock CC 8-0

HAMPTON, VA. -- The Apprentice School baseball team rebounded from a Wednesday loss to nationally-ranked Salisbury with an 8-0 win over Rappahannock CC on Friday afternoon at a wet War Memorial Stadium.

Freshman Ryland Edwards went seven innings to earn the victory, while David Sebera finished with two innings as the Builders raised their record to 7-7.

Sophomore Trevin Wilson was 4-for-5 with a double and three runs scored, while Chris Aldridge, Travis Franklin, Ryan Hendrickson and Andrew Hooper had a pair of hits each as the Builders out-hit the Gulls 13-2.

Apprentice School now will host Southern Maine CC for a USCAA doubleheader on Sunday at 1 pm at War Memorial Stadium.
