HAMPTON, VA. -- The Apprentice School put up 13-batters in an eight-run eighth inning on Wednesday night as they came back to defeat College of the Albemarle 10-4 at War Memorial Stadium.
Chris Aldridge had a pair of hits in the eight-run inning as the Builders chipped away starting the game being down 2-0 after one and 3-2 heading into the big inning.
Aldridge, Devorn Lake and Chris Scarola had two hits on the game for the Builders (21-12) who now will face Virginia University of Lynchburg in a 2 pm game on Thursday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium.
