The 2012-13 Virginia Sports Information Directors All-Sports Survey results were announced on Monday and the Apprentice School finished third out of 28 teams in the rankings with an overall winning percentage of 62.6%.
The survey lists the overall winning percentages of the 28 non-NCAA Division I schools in the state. This marks the first time that the Builders have finished three straight years in the top five in Virginia as they were second in 2011-12 and fourth in 2010-11.
On the men's side, the Builders had their best finish ever coming in second winning 63.6% of their contests. They trailed Christopher Newport University who won 69.6%.
The Lady Builders finished 16th winning 48% of their games this year. CNU blistered the state winning 80.6% of their games this year to win the women's side of the rankings.
Overall, CNU won the survey for the fifth straight year winning 76.2% of its contests. Lynchburg College just edged out the Apprentice School with 62.7%.
