Baseball Moves Up One Spot In Latest USCAA Coaches Poll

The baseball team moved up one spot in the latest United States Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches Poll that was released late Friday afternoon.

After being ranked fifth in the first two polls, the Builders moved up one spot to fourth in the rankings.  University of Cincinnati-Clermont, the defending champions, remain ranked number one with Lindenwood-University Belleville coming in second.  Penn State Greater Allegheny, the runnerup team from the 2013 USCAA Small College World Series is third with the Builders six points behind them in fourth.

Apprentice School (23-11) returns to the home field on Tuesday afternoon with the first of two games in two days against Christopher Newport University.  The 4pm game will be at War Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, as the two teams will play again on Wednesday at Christopher Newport's Captains Park at 3 pm.
