Chris Perry Named Scouts Choice Award Winner

Chris Perry Named Scouts Choice Award Winner

Prior to Tuesday's game against Christopher Newport University, Apprentice School senior Chris Perry was recognized by the Tidewater Mid-Atlantic Scouts Association as its 2014 Scouts Choice Award winner.  Chris is the first winner from The Apprentice School of this award.

The award, named in honor former major league scout Harry Postove, is given in recognition of a high level of spirit and dedication to his team, teammates and college baseball.  All are traits that Postove looked for in a player during his over 60-year scouting career.

Perry's name will be placed on a plaque, along side all former recipients, in the Tidewater Baseball Shrine located at Harbor Park in Norfolk.
