Bryan Cave to Be On Sports Scene Wednesday

On the heels of a remarkable run through the elimination bracket of the 2015 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball Championships, Apprentice School Head Baseball Coach Bryan Cave will be a guest tomorrow on Sports Scene to discuss the championship run.

Sports Scene, hosted by Greg Bicouvaris, is aired on Wednesday's from noon to 1 pm on WHKT AM 1650 and can also be heard through the Tunein app by searching WHKT AM 1650.  His interview should be around 12:10 pm Wednesday.

The Builders became the fourth team since 2010 to force a three-game championship day and in the process became the first host team to win the USCAA National Championship since Florida College in 2002.

The Builders set or tied five USCAA Tournament Records along with four school records during a run through the tournament that saw them defeat top-seeded Illinois Tech 25-10 and 10-1 to win their second USCAA title.

With its 6-1 run through the USCAA Tournament, the Builders finished the year with a 30-14 record.
