The baseball team concluded the Builder Invitaional with a record of 1-4.  The only win was against fellow USCAA member, College of St. Josephs.  The weekend was filled with great baseball as Bloomsburg University came out on top. 

Thursday, Feb. 25th

LOCATION: War Memorial- Hampton, VA

RESULTS: Bloomsburg 5, Apprentice School 3

IN BRIEF: The Builders were up 3-2 going into the top of the 9th inning when two costly errors helped Bloomsburg score 3 runs in the top of the inning.  The Builders were unable to respond in the bottom of the 9th.

ON THE FIELD: Brock Harris 2-4, 1 RBI; Mike Brumfield 2-4, 1 RBI; Jacob Countiss 2-4; Darius Harris 2-3, 1 RBI

Friday, Feb. 26th

LOCATION: War Memorial- Hampton, VA

RESULTS: Kutztown 9, Apprentice School 6

IN BRIEF: The Builders recorded 6 errors on the day, helping Kutztown earn a 9-6 win on Friday.  The Builders tried to battle back putting up 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th but fell short in the bottom of the 9th. 

ON THE FIELD: RBI's Picolo, Brumfield, Hunt (2), Hendrickson, and Corriere

Saturday, Feb. 27th

LOCATION: War Memorial- Hampton, VA

RESULTS: Game 1- Apprentice School 8, St. Joseph's 7

               Game 2- Indiana (PA) 16, Apprentice School 10

IN BREIF: Game 1- The Builders earned their first win of the Builder Invitaional on Saturday.  Lead by Darius Harris' two hits and 1 RBI, and Labradors 2 RBIs the Builders beat St. Joe's 8-7.  Game 2- IUP held off the Builders 16-10 Saturday afternoon. 

ON THE FIELD: Game 1- D. Harris 2-3; Labrador 1-2, 2 RBI; Morrisette 1-3, 2 RBI

Sunday, Feb. 28th

LOCATION: War Memorial- Hampton, VA

RESULTS: St. Joseph's 9, Apprentice School 3

IN BRIEF: St. Joe's jumped out to a 7-2 lead after 5 innings with the Builders only adding one more run in the 8th.  The Builders gave up 14 hits. 

ON THE FIELD: Wilber 3-3; B. Harris 2-5, 1 RBI; Countiss 2-5

The Builders will next travel to Vero Beach, Florida March 4th-6th.  The Builders first game will be on Thursday, March 4th at 1:00 pm as they take Trinity International University.
