GAME 1:
LOCATION: War Memorial- Hampton, VA
SCORE: The Apprentice School 5, SUNY-Adirondack 4 - 8 Innings
RECORD: The Apprentice School 9-13, SUNY-Adirondack 0-4
IN BRIEF: The Builders jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning only to see SUNY-Adirondack tie it up in the top of the 5th. Each team would add a run sending the game into extra innings. In the top of the 8th inning, the Builders prevented SUNY-Adirondack from taking the lead by gunning down a runner at home. The Builders would then score the game winner off a sacrifice fly from Darius Harris scoring Mike Brumfield in the bottom of the 8th.
ON THE FIELD:
- Jacob Countiss and Mike Brumfield each had 2 hits and 1 RBI
- Countiss had two doubles on the day
- Brock Harris, Louis Picolo, and Darius Harris each had 1 RBI.
- Taylor Gomer earned the win
Game 2:
LOCATION: War Memorial- Hampton, VA
SCORE: The Apprentice School 12, SUNY-Adirondack 3 - 8 Innings
RECORD: The Apprentice School 9-13, SUNY-Adirondack 0-4
IN BRIEF: The Builders bats woke up in the second game of the day as the baseball team would go on to beat SUNY-Adirondack handedly in game two of the day. The game was tied 3-3 after the third but the Builders would post 4 runs in the 5th and 4 more in the 6th to earn their 9th win of the season.
ON THE FIELD:
- Mark Labrador went 2 for 5, double and 2 RBI
- Cody Hendrickson was 2 for 3 with a double
- Nick Morrisette went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI
- Brock Harris and Louis Picolo each had 1 hit and 2 RBI
The Builders next game will be Thursday, March 17th against Castleton University at 5:00 pm at War Memorial.
