IN BRIEF: The Builders wasted no time scoring five runs in the bottom of the first inning. The socre would stay that way until the top of the seventh when Mary Washington scored two runs cutting the lead to three. In the top of the 9th innings, Mary Washingtion battled back to tie the game, scoring three runs. In the bottom of the eleventh inning, Steve Hux singled in the game winning run.
ON THE FIELD:
- Louis Picolo lead the way with 3 hits, followed by Mike Brumfield with 2
- Colin Wilber and Steve Hux each had 2 RBI; Wilber added a double
- Brock Harris, Mark Labrador, and Nick Morrisette each had one hit
The Builders will play a doubleheader this Saturday, April 9th against Danville Community College at 12 pm at War Memorial Stadium.
