The 2018 Builder Baseball Season Set To Start Wednesday, Feb. 7th

The Apprentice School baseball team will open its 2018 season on Wednesday, February 7th at 5:00 PM at Historic War Memorial Stadium in Hampton.  The Builders will take on Paul D. Camp Community College in the first Hampton Roads Cup.  The other teams include Thomas Nelson CC, Stratford University, and Bryant and Stratton.  

The Builders return 2 Seniors, 6 Juniors, 9 Sophomores, and welcome 13 Freshman.  Seniors Mike Brumfield and Darius Harris along with Juniors Dalton Dye and Cody Hendrickson look to lead The Apprentice School back to the USCAA Nationals.  

The Builders will host 15 schools this season at Historic War Memorial Stadium.  The Builders welcome NCAA Division II members Bloomsburg University, Kutztown University, and Virginia State.  The Apprentice School will square off against NCAA Divison III schools that include Castleton University, St. Vincents, Tufts University, Marymount University, and Hampden-Sydney.  The schedule also includes fellow USCAA members Penn State Mont Alto, Christendom College, Bluefield State, and Kent State-Tuscarawas.

This years United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Baseball Small College World Series will take place May 13th-17th in DuBois, PA.  The tournament will follow a ten team double-elimination format with all games being seven innings with the exception of the Championship game(s) lasting nine innings.
