Jumbos Too Much For Builders

IN BRIEF: It was a rough night for the Builders as they were held scoreless for the first 7 innings. The Jumbos starter threw a gem, only giving up 3 hits through 7 innings. The Tufts batters had a very different night then the Builders. The Jumbos exploded for 14 unanswered runs through the first 7 innings. The Builders would finally scratch across 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning. Mark Watts led off the inning with a single, followed by a Cole Gilbert walk. Maxwell Burcham doubled to right to give the Builders their first run of the game. Hunter Riss then singled and Jake Day hit a shot to left center to give the Builders their 2nd and 3rd runs of the evening. Brian Fritzinger would enter the game in the 9th and strike out the side. The Builders had nothing cooking in the 9th and dropped this game by a score of 14 to 3.
