GAME 1

IN BRIEF: The Builders played a back and forth game with Bluefield State but walked off the Blues in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the 9th inning. The win extends the Builders win streak to 12 games and improves their record to 22-7.

Austin Stambaugh and Paul Jones found themselves in a pitchers dual as the Builders led 2 to 0 after 4 innings. In the 4th Cody Hendrickson scored on an error and the Builders held a 2 to 0 lead. The lead would quickly evaporate in the 5th when the Blues would score 3 runs to take control of the game.

Tyler Winegrad threw a perfect 9th inning and the Builders walked off the Blues in the bottom of the 9th. Gevin Nixon's single down the left field line scored Braden Lambert and the Builders won the game by a score of 5 to 4.
