Day 1
Game 1 vs. Ft. Lauderdale Stars
IN BRIEF: The Builders defeated the Ft. Lauderdale Stars 7-0 in the first game of the tournament. Senior Alec Wonders pitched a shutout to start the weekend off strong. The Builders struck early adding 2 runs in the second inning and consistently drove in runs throughout the game. Braden Lambert's bat was on fire during this first contest, he was 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's.

Game 2 vs. Ft. Lauderdale Stars
IN BRIEF: The Builders put 5 up on the Stars early in the second inning and another in the top of the third. The Stars responded in the third inning by adding 4 runs, and another run in the fourth inning closing the gap to 1 run. William Capps pitched 7 innings striking out 6 batters. With only a single run lead, the Builders were able to fend off the Stars for a 6-5 victory.

Day 2
Game 3 vs. Alice Lloyd College
IN BRIEF: In their second day of the Vero Beach Tournament, the Builders faced the Alice Lloyd Eagles. The Eagles jumped out early with 2 runs in the first inning. It would take an inning to get rolling but the Builders responded with a 3 run home run by Senior Maxwell Burcham in the bottom of the third. The Builders added another run to the boards in the fourth with an RBI single from Gevin Nixon. The Eagles were able to add one more run to the boards in the fifth inning but would fall short. Builders win 4-3.

Game 4 vs. Alice Lloyd
IN BRIEF: The Builders dominated with two 7 run innings and two 2 run innings to take the win over the Eagles, 19-5. Thomas Packert had his first homerun of the weekend and was 2 for 3 at bat with 3 RBI's. Hunter Haden had his first win of the season pitching 5 innings with only 2 runs given up and 3 strikeouts. Luke Wells finished the game for the Builders with 5 strikeouts.

Game 5 vs. Florida National
IN BREIF: The Builders took on conference opponent Florida National Conquistadors in the last 2 game series of the weekend. The Conquistadors put up 3 runs right out of the gate but the Builders were able to respond with 5 runs through three innings. The Conquistadors closed the gap to 1 run after the fifth inning but were unable to come back after a 3 run sixth inning from the Builders. The Builders added to their 6 game winning streak with a 10-6 victory.

IN BREIF: The builders had a slow start to the game but were able to score 4 runs through 4 innings. The Conquistadors responded with 6 runs through 6 innings. The Builders put up one more run in the 7th inning but were unable to come back, ending their 7 game win streak to the Conquistadors 4-6.
