Builders Late Game Rally Not Enough to Beat Castleton

IN BRIEF: The Builders were only able to play 1 of the 3 scheduled games against the visiting Castleton Spartans this past weekend. After a late game rally, the Builders fell short losing 7-4 finishing their season with an overall record of 13-6. The Spartans starting pitcher was on his way to pitching a perfect game through 7 innings. The builders rallied in the 8th inning when Thomas Packert hit a leadoff triple, scoring on an error to spark a comeback. Braden Lambert followed with a solo homerun to left field slowly cutting the deficit. Lou Picolo singled to center field followed by a single right field by Jake Day. An error by the right fielder allowed Picolo to score unearned and Day advanced to third. Day scored on an RBI single by James Williams, a pop out would end the inning and scoring for the Builders.
