Apprentice School senior defensive lineman James Lee was named on Monday as the Atlantic Central Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Builders' 20-18 win over Southern Virginia University.

Lee, a Richmond, Va. native and outside machinist apprentice, had a career-high eight tackles (four solo/four assisted) and blocked an extra-point attempt in the come-from-behind victory for the Builders.  He also had a hand in deflecting a field goal attempt that came up short.

Apprentice School (2-5) now travels to LaGrange, Ga. to face the Panthers of LaGrange College (2-5) on October 30 in a 1 pm kickoff.
