The Apprentice School returns to action on Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla. as they face Edward Waters College on Homecoming for the Tigers.

This is the second meeting all-time between the teams with Edward Waters winning last season 38-21 in Newport News.  The Builders cut the deficit to 21-14 heading into the fourth quarter, but a pair of touchdowns helped propel the Tigers to the win.

Edward Waters comes into the game after a pair of losses to Webber International (70-14) and to Paine College (38-14).  The Tigers are headed by freshman quarterback Tyler Mahla who has thrown for 1,248 yards in seven games with seven touchdowns.  He is third in their conference in passing yards per game and fifth in rushing yards per game running for almost 50 yards per contest.

The Builders are 0-6 after a tough 12-6 loss to Coppin State University on October 11.  On the last possession of the game, the Builders drove 93 yards down to the one but a last-secound pass was swatted away in the end zone.
