Hoffmann, Janaro Honored By Peninsula Sports Club

On Tuesday night, former Apprentice School football coaches Paul Hoffmann and Phil Janaro were honored by the Peninsula Sports Club on its Milestone Night.

The two, along with former Bethel High School football coach Bubba Hooker, were recognized by the PSC for their contributions to athletics on the Peninsula.

The two coaches have combined for over 20 years of coaching on the Builder sidelines.  Janaro served two stints as head coach from 1985-87 and again from 2001-07.   Hoffmann also served two stints as head coach from 1990-97 and again from 2012-13.  He also served as the defensive coordinator for Janaro in 1987, served again on his staff from 2001-07 and served two years under coach Michael Vite from 2008-09.

Athletic Director Keisha Pexton presented Hoffmann and Janaro with their awards from the Peninsula Sports Club.
