O'Neil and Pope Named USCAA Players Of The Week

The Apprentice School football team had two players honored by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) on Tuesday as Players of the Week. Junior, John Pope won the defense honor while Sophomore Brenden O'Neil earned the offense honor.

Pope, a junior pipefitter apprentice from Nacogdoches, TX, had 3 total tackles, one tackle for a loss of 17 yards and two pass deflections.  This is Pope's second time this season being named Player of the Week.

O'Neil, a sophomore electrician apprentice from Virginia Beach, VA, was 8-10 for 137 yards and two touchdowns.  He also added 12 yards on 3 attempts.  This is the second time this season Brenden has been named Player of the Week

The Builders will be at home this weekend against Louisburg College for a 1:00 PM start.
