Football Kicks Off 2017 Season Against Greensboro College Saturday, September 2nd 1:00 PM

The 2017 Apprentice School football season kicks off on Saturday when the Builders host Greensboro College at 1:00 PM.  Greensboro College is a NCAA Division III program from Greensboro, NC and are members of the USA South.  The Pride finished the 2016 season with a 1-9 overall record and a 0-7 record in the USA South Atlantic Conference.  The Builders topped the Pride 42-22 in Greensboro last season. 

The Apprentice School finished the 2016 season 5-5 and in 2017 look to build off of their most successful season since 2007.  In 2016, the Builders offense finished the year averaging 354.1 yards per game, 2073 rushing yards, and 25 rushing touchdowns.  The offense will be led this year by QB Brenden O'Neil, RB Ethan Bryce, and OL Kekoa Haina-Scott.  Last season, the defense had 23 total sacks (3rd All-time), 85 tackles for loss (2nd All-time), and 9 interceptions (1st All-time).  The defense will be led by LB Tyson Tillar, LB Illichris Gordon, OLB John Pope, LB Mike Scott and DL Khris Smith
