The Apprentice School Builders fell to 1-2 on the season after a 52-0 setback to Bridgewater College.
ON THE FIELD:
- The Builders fell behind early in the first quarter as Bridgewater's Malivai Barker ran for two touchdowns and an interception was returned for a touchdown.
- The Apprentice School held Bridgewater to just three points in the second quarter and trailed 24-0 at the break.
- Another interception was returned for a touchdown and Bridgewater tacked on two more touchdowns to extend the lead to 45-0 after the third quarter.
- Bridgewater scored on a nine-yard pass to Trey Stephens to cap the scoring.
BEHIND THE BOX SCORE:
- Ethan Bryce had a strong game on the ground rumbling for 139 yards on 31 carries.
- The Builders had the advantage on the time of possession, holding the ball for 35:41 compared to Bridgewater's 24:19.
- Belafonte Sherman led the Builders on defense with eight tackles.
