The 2018 Apprentice School football season kicks off on Saturday when the Builders travel to Greensboro College at 1:00 PM. Greensboro College is a NCAA Division III program from Greensboro, NC and are members of the USA South. The Pride finished the 2017 season with a 1-9 overall record and a 0-7 record in the USA South Atlantic Conference. The Builders topped the Pride 39-7 last season at home.
The Apprentice School finished the 2017 season 2-8. In 2017, the Builders offense led the USCAA in rushing yards with 1,772 and finished second in total yards with 3,065. The Builder defense finished third in the USCAA in tackles with 647 and was second in fumble recoveries with 12. Key players to watch this season include RB Fred Hendrieth, RB Brandon Jones, QB Terrence Sudberry, OL Kekoa Haina-Scott, LB Malek Lyles, DE Khris Smith. Key additions in 2018 include WR Devon Peacock, S Caleb Donofrio, OL Blake Brassure, and DB Raekwon Jackson. The Builders return 23 with 7 of them being starters in 2017.
