Builders Take Down Giants on Senior Day

IN BRIEF: On a beautiful October day, the Builders dominated the Giants from start to finish. Playing their first official game since October 5th, the Builders wasted no time and marched down the field on their opening drive for an early 7 to 0 lead. The 8 play, 57 yard drive was capped off by a 3 yard touchdown run from Mason Tatum. The Giants would take over and were quickly forced to a 3 and out by the Builder defense. The two teams traded punts before the Mason Tatum finished off a 10 play, 70 yard drive with a 6 yard touchdown pass to Zeke Ferguson

With the Giants driving late in the 2nd Quarter, Daquan White intercepted the Giants pass and was downed in the endzone. The Builders took over at the 20 yard line and quickly turned the turnover to points when Lawrence Reed broke free for a 59 yard touchdown run. The 59 yard run was the highlight of Reed's day. Reed finished with 2 touchdowns and 204 rushing yards.

The Builders would enter halftime with a 34 to 0 lead as Mason Tatum hit paydirt with a 4 yard touchdown run and later found Devon Peacock for a 30 yard touchdown right before the half. The Builder defense forced 3 turnovers on the day and held their opposition to just 50 rushing yards. Keystone found the endzone late in the 3rd quarter but 7 points is all they could muster against the Builders.

The Builders would find the endzone two more times in the 2nd half. First on a 17 yard run from Lawrence Reed and then on an 18 yard run from Cole Edwards. With the win, the Builders move to 5-1 on the season.
