BROKEN ARROW, OKLA. -- Sophomore Isaih Harrison recorded his seventh double-double on the season with 17 points and a career-high 17 rebounds while senior Eric Joe became the fifth Builder in the last 20 years to score 1,000 career points as the Apprentice School defeated Rhema Bible College 70-63 in a U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association matchup.

A slow first half saw the Builders trail 33-29, but they turned up the defense in the second half forcing 14 Rhema turnovers and 39.1% shooting from the floor.  The Builders went on a 12-1 run over a five minute span to take a 58-44 lead with five minutes left.  Rhema didn't give up easily as they went on a 12-4 run over the next 2:20 to cut the deficit to 62-56, but that was as close as they got.

Joe scored his 1,000th career point early in the second half to become the fifth men's basketball player in the last 20 years to break that plateau.  His nine points on the game gave him 1,002 for his career.

Harrison helped lead the Builders to a dominating 47-30 performance on the glass with his career high 17 boards including 12 in the second half.  Apprentice School held a 23-6 advantage on the offensive boards.

The Builders also had scoring in double figures on Friday night freshman Tevin Andrews with 13 points and six rebounds, sophomore Andre Henderson with 12 points and sophomore Tim Johnson with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Apprentice School (7-6) will close out this swing with a 4 pm CST tip against Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas.
