Eric Joe Named USCAA Player Of The Week

 

Apprentice School senior Eric Joe was named U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Division I Player Of The Week for the week ending January 23.  The 6-foot-1 guard/ forward from Suffolk averaged 20 points, 3.5 rebounds and two assists per game in the Builders three contests.  He had a season-high 27 points in a loss to NAIA Division I top-ranked Mountain State on January 21. 

For the season he is averaging 15 points and five rebounds per game and recently became the fifth Builder in the last 20 years to score over 1,000 points in a career.  His career total now stands at 1,101 points - 24 from fourth place on the career scoring list and 48 from third place.

The Apprentice School (9-10) will next see action on Saturday in Media, Pa. where they'll face the two-time USCAA Division II National Champions Williamson Trade at 2 pm.
