Isaih Harrison Named Second Team All-State By Va. Sports Info. Directors Association

Sophomore forward Isaih Harrison was named on Friday to the second team All-State College Division team by the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association.

Harrison, from Abbeville, La. and a sheet metal apprentice, averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds per game making him the first men's player to average a double-double for a season since Steve Butler in the 1995-96 season.

He was named first team US Collegiate Athletic Association All-American in March and was named to the BC Powder Classic All-Tournament team at N.C. Central University in January.  In that tournament he averaged 15.5 points and 16 rebounds per game, including a career-high 18 rebound performance against the host NCAA Division I Eagles.  He scored 30 or more points three times, including a career-best 35 at NAIA Philander Smith College.
