LAURINBURG, NC - Sophomore Isiah Harrison recorded his third straight double-double pouring  in 20 points and hauling in 15 rebounds but it was not enough as the homestanding St. Andrews Knights held on for a 76-67 victory on Sunday afternoon.

The Builders scored the first three baskets to take a quick 6-0 lead on a Harrison layup with 17:46 left in the half.  St. Andrews responded with a 14-4 run that was sparked by three 3-pointers from Kurt Fenderbosch to propel the Knights to a lead it never relinquished.

Fenderbosch, who hit eight 3-pointers and had 27 points off the bench, drained his final 3-pointer with 12:48 left in the game to give the Knights their largest lead of the game at 57-36.  The Builders used a 21-6 run to cut the deficit to 63-55 on a Tevin Andrews free throw with 5:10 remaining.  St. Andrews hit 12 of its last 14 free throws in the final five minutes for the win.

Eric Joe chipped in 13 points and eight rebounds for the Builders, while Andrews added 12 points and five boards.

The Builders now travel to NAIA Division II member Bluefield College for a 7 pm tipoff on Friday, Dec. 11.  The Rams are coached by former University of Virginia sharp-shooter Richard Morgan and are currently 3-8.
