BLUEFIELD, VA. - The homestanding Bluefield Rams held off a couple of second half flurries from The Apprentice School and scored a 71-62 victory on Friday night.
Sophomore Isaih Harrison paced three in double figures for the Builders (4-5) with 18 points and eight rebounds, while senior Eric Joe added 17 points and six rebounds and freshman Tevin Andrews scored 16 points and hauled in 14 rebounds. The Builders trailed 41-29 at halftime.
Apprentice School now goes to NCAA Division III power Virginia Wesleyan College for a 7 pm tip on Monday night with the 25th-ranked Marlins. This will be a rematch of a Dec. 3 game that VWC won 76-73 in overtime.
