Isaih Harrison Earns Second USCAA Player Of The Week Honor

Sophomore forward Isaih Harrison garnered his second USCAA honor in three weeks on Tuesday as he was named Men's Division I Player Of The Week for the week ending December 20.

Harrison, a Denbigh High School graduate and a sheet metal apprentice, averaged 24.7 points and 10.3 rebounds as the Builders went 2-1.  Harrison began the week posting 16 points and 10 rebounds against NCAA DIII 21st-ranked Virginia Wesleyan.  He followed that performance up with back to back career high nights, scoring 27 points against Johnson & Wales (FL) on Friday night, and posting career bests of 31 points and 16 rebounds against Florida Memorial, leading the Builders to two road wins.

He earned USCAA Player Of The Week honors on December 8 after averaging 18.3 points and 12.7 rebounds in a three-game week.  For the year he leads the team in scoring (17.8 ppg), rebounding (8.8 rpg), free throw percentage (.721) and second in field goal percentage (.506).

The Builders are now off until January 8 when they travel to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to face USCAA rival Rhema Bible College in the first of a two-game weekend in the midwest.
