Builders Fall 81-76 In Exhibition Game At Chowan

MURFREESBORO, N.C. -- The Apprentice School men's basketball team couldn't hold off a second half rally from Chowan University as they fell 81-76 on Friday night in an exhibition game.

In the first half, the Builders held as much as a 12-point lead and took a 39-29 lead into intermission.  Apprentice School hit 48% from the floor in the first half, while holding the Hawks to 35% shooting.

The final 20 minutes saw the Hawks get hot from outside and hit 50% from the floor while outscoring Apprentice School 52-37.  Chowan held the Builders to 38% shooting from the floor in the second half

Junior Isaih Harrison had a team-high 21 points and eight rebounds, while freshman Sean Johnson added 16 points and sophomore Tevin Andrews scored 11.

Apprentice School will start its season on November 12 when they travel to Portland, Maine for a U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association matchup with Southern Maine CC.
