Men Open Season With 78-66 USCAA Win At Southern Maine

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME. -- Junior Isaih Harrison picked up where he left off last year as he recorded a game-high double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds as The Apprentice School defeated Southern Maine CC 78-66 in a U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association matchup Friday night.

Harrison, who averaged a double-double as a sophomore was joined in the double-double club by sophomore Tevin Andrews who had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Builders shot 48.5% from the field (33-of-68) and used a height advantage to dominate on the boards 46-19 to give first-year head coach Franklin Chatman his initial collegiate victory.

Paul Holland had 16 points and Josh Mackie added 15 for the Seawolves (3-1) who shot 24-of-73 from the field (32.9%) and shot 41 3-pointers in the game hitting 12 (29.3%).

Apprentice School will now travel north to Auburn, Maine for the first of two games on the campus of Central Maine CC when they take on the hosts at 4 pm on Saturday.
