Men's Basketball Pulls Away From Central Maine For 77-60 Win

AUBURN, MAINE – Junior Isaih Harrison scored 25 points and matched his career-high with 18 rebounds to lead four in double figures for the Apprentice School as they pulled away in the second half to defeat U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association member Central Maine CC 77-60 on Saturday.

The host Mustangs held a 34-33 lead at the half, but the Builders turned up the defensive pressure in the second half forcing CMCC into a 22.9% shooting from the field (8-of-35) in the final 20 minutes to outscore them 44-26.

Sophomore Tevin Andrews added 17 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore Andre Henderson added 13 points and six assists and freshman Latrone Demiel chipped in 12 points hitting four 3-pointers.

Apprentice School (2-0) faces University of Maine-Fort Kent on Sunday at noon in Kirk Hall on the CMCC campus.
