Apprentice School Head Men's Basketball Coach Franklin Chatman will appear this month on Newport News Public Schools Television's Sports Highlights.  He makes the ninth current staff member to appear on the television show.

The show will appear on Monday's at 7 am, 2 pm, 7 pm along with 9 am on Saturday's and Sunday's on Cox Channel 47 in Newport News and Verizon FiOS 17.  Greg Bicouvaris is the host of the show.

Chatman's men's team will take the floor again on January 8 at NCAA Division II Washington Adventist University in a 7 pm tipoff.  They'll hit the home floor for the first time on January 14 at 8 pm against Barber-Scotia College in the Martin Luther King Classic.
