Both Apprentice School basketball teams are ranked in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Top 10 heading into the final month of the 2010-11 season.
The Apprentice School men (10-9) are currently fifth in the latest poll which came out today. The Builders hit the final month of their schedule with five of their final six games scheduled for the home floor at Apprentice Gym. That stretch starts tonight when they face the University of District of Columbia in a 6 pm tipoff. The NCAA Division II Firebirds are coming in off a 97-94 win over Pfeiffer University on Saturday and are currently 6-12 on the year.
The Apprentice School women (13-6) are currently seventh in their poll and are coming off a 63-55 win on Saturday at Bennett College. The Lady Builders also see action tonight but they'll be in Rocky Mount, N.C. to face N.C. Wesleyan College in a rematch of a January 5 game that Apprentice School won 97-51.
