The hosts pushed the lead back up to eight points at 23-15 on a pair of Thomas' free throws with 11:24 left which is around the margin the lead stayed at for the next five minutes.  A pair of Johnnie Ferebee free throws gave the Builders a 34-27 lead with 6:38 left but then the visitors reeled off a 11-0 run over a 2:44 span as VUL took a 38-34 lead on a Chris Calvan jumper with 3:54 left.  That was the largest lead on the night for the Dragons.
