Big First Half Runs Lift Builders Over Williamson Trade 84-55

MEDIA, PA. – The Apprentice School used a pair of big runs in the first half to get a working margin and defeat Williamson Trade 84-55 on Saturday afternoon in a USCAA contest.

Williamson opened the game feisty and held a 10-6 lead on a Justin Swift jumper with 14:33 left.  A pair of buckets from Isaih Harrison brought the Builders back even and jumpstarted the 19-2 run that was capped by a Darrell Fenton tip-in to lead 25-12 with 9:29 left.

The Mechanics clawed back into the game cutting the lead to 25-19 on a jumper from Jacob Eisenhart with 7:46 left, but the Builders closed the half on a 21-5 to lead 46-24 at the break on a jumper from Terrence Palmer.

In the second half, Williamson opened with a 12-2 run to chop the lead in half on a Julian Stewart jumper with 16:49 left for a 48-36 lead.  That was as close as the hosts got as the Builders went on a 17-3 run to go back up 24 as a Lewis Archer tip-in put Apprentice School up 65-41 with 9:15 left.
