Men's Basketball Blasts Pitt-Titusville 103-55

MCKEESPORT, PA. – Senior Tevin Andrews scored 20 points to lead six in double figures as the Apprentice School used a 27-2 run over a 5:38 span of the first half to cruise to a 103-55 win over University of Pittsburgh-Titusville in the final day of the Penn State Greater Allegheny USCAA Tipoff.

The Builders were a blistering 25-of-40 (62.5%) from the field in the first half as they raced out to a 62-23 lead.  Apprentice School forced 30 turnovers and outrebounded Pitt-Titusville 45-30.

Joining Andrews in the double-figure club was junior Darrell Fenton with 19 points, sophomore Tony Walton with a career-best 16 points, freshman Rodney Goodman with 14 points and eight rebounds while junior Latrone Demiel added 12.

Apprentice School now will visit Virginia Wesleyan College for the Marlin Tipoff on November 16.  They'll open the event against NCAA Division III National Runnerup Cabrini College at 5:30 pm.
