First USCAA Basketball Polls Announced - Apprentice School Seventh In Both

The first U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball Coaches Polls came out just before Christmas and The Apprentice School teams are safely inside the top ten in each.

On the men's Division I side, the Builders are tied with Tennessee Temple University for seventh place in the inaugural poll.  Apprentice School (8-5) will return to action on January 4 when they travel to Washington, DC to face NCAA Division II University of the District of Columbia (2-7) at 3 pm. 

Victory University (TN) leads the poll, followed by upcoming opponent Washington Adventist University (MD) and defending champion Rochester College (MI).

In the women's Division I poll, the Lady Builders matched the men as they came in seventh in the inaugural poll.  Apprentice School (7-3) will return to action on January 3 when they start a two-game swing against the Old Dominion Athletic Conference when they travel to Washington & Lee University (3-4) for a 6pm tip.  The next day they'll venture to Emory, Virginia to face Emory & Henry College (2-8) for a 2pm tip. 

Leading the USCAA Division I Women's Poll is Ave Maria University (FL), followed by Lindenwood University-Belleville (IL) and Iowa Wesleyan College.
