Women Fifth/Men Seventh In Latest USCAA Coaches Poll

The latest U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches Polls were released on Friday afternoon and the Apprentice School teams remain in the top eight of the rankings.

On the women's side, the Lady Builders moved up a spot to fifth in the poll on the heels of a pair of wins in the Martin Luther King Classic last weekend.  Apprentice School is eight points behind Ave Maria University in fourth place, while Lindenwood University-Belleville remains firmly at the top-spot in the poll.  Iowa Wesleyan University and Robert Morris University-Springfield are at second and third respectively ahead of Ave Maria and the Lady Builders.

The men's poll saw the Builders remain seventh this week after a 2-1 performance in the MLK Classic.  Daemen College remained on top of the men's Division I poll, followed by Washington Adventist University and Rochester College who are tied for second.  Victory University is fourth, while Lindenwood University-Belleville is fifth and Concordia College (AL) is ahead of the Builders in sixth.

Both Apprentice School teams are in action on Saturday as they'll both face Washington Adventist University.  The men travel to Takoma Park, Md. to face the Shock, while the Lady Builders host the Lady Shock with both games starting at 7 pm.
