Men's Basketball Pulls Away From Sabers For 79-73 Win

CONCORD, NC – Junior Jay Melendez scored 20 points to lead four in double figures on Saturday as the Apprentice School scored a 79-73 victory over Barber-Scotia College in a United States Collegiate Athletic Association contest.

Freshman DeAndre Demiel added 17 points and six assists, while seniors Tony Walton (11 points, four rebounds) and Johnnie Ferebee (10 points, five assists) joined them in double figures.
The Builders (12-9) now take on Washington Adventist University on Sunday at 2 pm at Apprentice Athletic Center as the Builders will honor their six-member senior class on Senior Day.
