Cold Shooting Dooms Builders in 92-62 Setback

Cold shooting doomed the Builders men's basketball team as they suffered a 92-62 setback against Berkeley-NYC on Saturday afternoon in the SUNY-Delhi Tournament. The team will play against either Stratford or SUNY-Delhi on Sunday afternoon in the consolation game at 2 p.m.

ON THE COURT:

  • Drew Walton led the Builders with 16 points off the bench. He was 5-for-7 from the floor and 6-for-9 from the charity stripe.
  • Romello Anderson added 14 points and Jalen Ruffin led the team with nine rebounds.
  • Berkeley was led by Michael Taylor, who posted a game-high 25 points.

The Builders will conclude their road trip with a matchup against either Stratofrd or SUNY-Delhi in a consolation matchup on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. The team will then return home to host Chowan in their home opener on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
