The Apprentice School men's basketball team fell short in an 81-78 setback against Bluefield State on Sunday afternoon.
ON THE COURT:
- The Builders shot 44% from the field and was 89% (8-for-9) on three-pointers.
- William Wilcox led the team with 21 pointsand seven rebounds.
- Brandon Joyner posted 18 points.
- Jalen Warren and Drew Walton each added 13 points apiece.
- The Builders were 10-for-19 at the free-throw line while Bluefield State went 25-for-39.
The Builders return to action this weekend as they will play in the Bridgewater Don Glick Classic.
