Builders Come Up Short to WAU

IN BRIEF: The 7-7 Builders hosted the 15-3 Shock on Wednesday night. The two teams previously met at WAU where the Shock defeated the Builders by a score of 94 to 65. The Builders fared much better in this contest but came up just short, dropping this game by a score of 89 to 82. 

Late in the 1st half, the Builders found themselves with an 8 point lead, but that quickly dwindled as they went into the locker room barely holding a 40 to 38 lead over the Nationaly Ranked Shock. In the 2nd half, the two teams would trade the lead before the Shock ultimately took control. The Builders went cold and it was the Shock with an 8 point, 70-62 lead with just under 6 minutes to go. 

A late 3 pointer from Brandon Joyner would cut the Shock lead to 72 to 70 with 3:51 to go before the Shock pulled away. Brandon's brother, Corey Joyner finished the game with a double-double (14 pts, 11 assts). With the loss, the Builders drop to 7-8 on the season.
