PETERSBURG, Va. - The Apprentice School men's basketball player Shawn Eley was named to the USCAA All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the men's Division I championship game Thursday afternoon.

Eley averaged 22 points and eight rebounds in the two games Apprentice played in the tournament, leading the Builders to their first win in a national tournament since 2014. He put up a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds in the double overtime loss to the eventual national runner-up Bryant & Stratton (Buffalo) in the semifinals Wednesday.

A first team All-American and New South Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Eley finished the year averaging a team best 15.3 points per contest, pacing the Builders to a 21-8 record and the No. 3 overall seed in the USCAA tournament.
