After returning to the sideline for the 2021-22 season, Kee led the Builders to a sixth seed in the USCAA National Tournament immediately. During that season, they had two players receive the honor of USCAA All-American; Marion Moore (1st Team) and Corey Joyner (2nd Team). The 2022-23 season proved to be an historic one as the Builders finished with a record of 21-8, won the New South Athletic Conference Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championship and received the third seed in the USCAA National Tournament. The success of the season didn't go unnoticed, as Kee was named the USCAA National Coach of the Year, in addition to the NSAC Coach of the Year. The team featured the following USCAA All-Americans; Shawn Eley (1st Team), Karree Smith (2nd Team) and Jayden Eason (Honorable Mention).

During his first stint as head coach, he helped rejuvenate the program, and increased win totals each season. He also coached four USCAA All-Americans; Romello Anderson (1st Team 2017-18), Drew Walton (1st Team 2018-19), Marion Moore (2nd Team 2018-19), and Corey Joyner (Honorable Mention 2018-19).
Prior to becoming the head coach of the Builders, he spent two seasons at Keuka College on the men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach. Before arriving at Keuka College, he served as the assistant men's basketball coach, and head JV basketball coach at Elmira College in New York. During his two years at Elmira, he helped guide the varsity to their two strongest seasons in over a decade.
